Several weeks ago, the girls finished their very first session of art classes at the Honolulu Museum of Art.
The teachers held back some of their artwork for a special display, which we got to attend this week.
Here's some of the artwork that we saw displayed.
Kela and her lobster (shrimp?) chalk drawing.
Here was Kela's paper mache plant in a ceramic hand. All sculpted and made by Kela.
This was a craypas and paper artwork of a Honu by Anna.
She even wrote a poem about it. :)
And finally, this little mouse was made of ceramic and sculpted by Anna.
It was hollow and filled with some little beads that rattled. : )
So proud of my girls and the work they put forth in creating such great pieces of art!
