Boy, is it getting HOT!
Despite how gloomy the sky looks here in these pictures, it really was a HOT day! The Trade Winds are MIA lately which makes for some seriously muggy weather...so we decided to hit the beach. Also, it was the first free day Mitch has had in FOREVER, so we thought it prudent we take advantage of it!
Jolee's first time getting into the sand and water at the beach. She LOVED every second of it! Even when the water splashed on her face (or I should say, when she splashed water on her face), she hardly flinched! The water was SO warm-like bath water-and super shallow where we were so she got to crawl around to her little heart's content between Mitch and me. Then afterwards, went for the sand castles Kela was making with Daddy...and tore each one of them down. The only time she got remotely fussy at all was when we'd swat her sandy hands away from her mouth or lifted her out of the water. We seem to have yet another beach baby on our hands...I think we're going to have to come out to the beach more often!
Summer, here we come!

Glad you guys had a great time! I had to laugh at the sand in hand to mouth scenario - I remember that! Brennen just sat there chowing the sand like it was chocolate chip cookies! Chyler did the same but she soon learned that it wasn't pleasant. Boys!
