The only time we get to enjoy visiting Hickam park or Hickam beach is when Grandma and Grandpa come to visit us...but you can be sure when they do, we take FULL advantage!
The parks and beaches on the military bases are SO much nicer and cleaner than anything outside!!
This sandy park is their favorite.
Not ours, though. No, the sand is dirty and dusty and they always come away with black feet...but its a huge park and the kids love it! Even Kaden has gotten to enjoy swinging!
And then there's the beach! The waves are a bit rougher and deeper than the usual beach we frequent, but that just means it's the perfect place to bust out the boogie board and catch some shore breaks!
You can't tell from the filter on the pictures, but believe me, they were both beautiful days to hit the park and waves.
We sure will miss it when Grandma and Grandpa leaves...although, we will surely miss Grandma and Grandpa MORE than the park! ;)
