YES, it's that season again!
Soccer's Spring season started up right after new years...and with both Kela and Anna in soccer, I'm gearing up for another busy Spring season.

Kela had her first game last Saturday.
They are the Purple Lightnings.
And lucky for Kela, her coach is the SAME coach from last season!
And, along with 3 other girls from last season, Kela is super excited to have a solid friendship base with the majority of the girls on her team.

This season, Kaden can walk around.
So, while I no longer have to hold him the whole time...I now have to keep one eye trained on him to make sure he doesn't wander onto the playing field!!
Yay me!

Here we are...gearing up for the start of the first game!
Didn't get too many good action shots this game.
But Kela is in the middle of the pack-one on one with the girl dribbling the ball in this picture.
Kela has grown by leaps and bounds this past year!
She's still on the shy side, and not very aggressive...but she enjoys being on the team and hanging out with her teammates who also happen to be her friends from school.
The first game was kind of a bust.
Even though Kela managed to score one point, the center ref was a parent on the opposing team and allowed their team to tip off (? kick off?) when our girls were still talking to the coach. Hence, allowing them to gain an unfair point.
We thought it was LAME!
And ended up losing by one point.
But I choose to believe we tied.

The pictures don't really show...but it was scorching HOT this day!

Not sure how we'll handle next Saturday when both Kela AND Anna have games.
Oh boy!
Oh boy!
Here's a few random shots I took during Kela's soccer practice this past week.
In case you couldn't tell...Kela is the one with the BRIGHT orange uniform.

One of Kela's teammates has a younger brother that my girls LOVE to run around and play with.
Kaden...loving the open field to wander around and explore...
In the tall grass...
Seriously hoping the state maintenance guys come mow the lawn before next practice!!
